Gerges Mr. Gerges (Assoc.
Dip. Civil Eng., B. Eng. Civil) has been with Environmental Investigations
since 1995 bringing to the company his considerable practical expertise in
field investigations, site assessments and the coordination of soil and
groundwater remediation programs. Mr. Gerges has taken a leading role in the development
of the firm's operational procedures, which are designed for maintaining
cost-effective projects, while applying Best Industry Practice with due
regard for stringent, regulatory requirements. Vagner Jorden(D. B., M. Environmental Eng., B. Eng. Civil) brings to Environmental Investigations capabilities in hydrologic and hydrogeologic, mathematical modelling with over 15 years experience in this diverse field. He also provides specific expertise in the design and construction of urban and rural sanitation systems, solid waste and wastewater treatment, site drainage control systems and the development of Site Water Management Plans. Tony Guirguis Mr. Guirguis (B. Management Assoc. Dip. Civil Eng.) joined Environmental Investigations in July 2002, and holds the position of Project Manager of Environmental Division. He previously worked for EI in 1999-2000 where he was responsible for projects associated with water and soil sampling. Tony has extensive project management experience and has worked in a variety of jurisdictions. His key area of interest is the preparation of environmental assessment for development proposals. Alex
Palm With over 15 years of specialist training and experience in Environmental Monitoring, Alex Palm (MSc in Groundwater Management - pending, BAppSc - Materials Science), is the Sampling Manager and contract coordinator for a number of long-term, wastewater, groundwater and surface water monitoring programs for private clients, as well as the Sydney Water Corporation. dos Santos Dr Ruy C. F. dos Santos has being working with Environmental Investigations since February 1999 where he consistently meets and often exceeds the requirements of his position as Senior Environmental Consultant. With broad experience in undertaking and reviewing site contamination/environmental assessments, Dr. Santos is also capable in preparing remedial action plans for specific sources of contamination, such as Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl-benzene and Xylenes (BTEX) and Trichloroethylene (TCE). He also provided assistance in the development and implementation of OH&S and environmental management systems at Environments Investigations. Damian
Wall Mr. Wall's
skills extend across all levels of natural resource management planning at
the farm, sub-catchment and the strategic catchment scale. Damian is an experienced
planner having developed plans for all levels of the community and also has
exceptionally well developed facilitation, communication and conflict
resolution skills. Miss Mamalicos (BSc Environmental Sciences) joined Environmental Investigations in 2000 and has demonstrated excellence in conducting environmental investigations, monitoring and remedial validation programs on a broad range of residential, commercial and industrial sites. Mark
Bartel Mr Bartel (BE, MEngSc in Geotechnical Engineering, GMQ) has over 16 years experience in all aspects of geotechnical engineering, gained through working with a diverse range of companies including major international engineering companies, specialist Australasian geotechnical consultancies, and small geotechnical practices. He has worked on a variety of infrastructure, civil engineering and residential projects throughout Australia and SE Asia, covering: dams, embankments and major slopes; excavations and tunnels; industrial and power generation facilities; commercial developments; mine infrastructure; materials resources evaluation; roads, railways and route studies; and environmental studies. With a particular focus on client service, Mr Bartel has consistently applied his geotechnical knowledge and expertise to provide practical, cost-effective, and responsive geotechnical advice and solutions. Burt Having 25 years experience in several related environmental and quality areas including wastewater research and development, product development, analytical chemistry and evaluations, contract and project management, technical and quality assurance, Dr Chris Burt (PhD, MSc, MEng. Studies, BSc Honours, MAWA, MRACI, MAPESMA) is establishing and managing Environmental Investigations' Quality Management System. As an ISO9000:2000 auditor, Dr Burt has taken on the task of establishing Environmental Investigations' ISO9001 registration by 2002. Prior to become associated with Environmental Investigations Dr Burt worked under the capacity of Contracts Manager and Quality Control Manager with the Sydney Water Corporation. |
